24. Kinder - Trikefahrt Essen
On 01.09.2024 the children's trike ride Essen took place for the 24th time.
With 93 trikes accompanied by the Essen police and lots of motorcyclists from the Blue Knights (motorcycle-riding police officers, law enforcement and customs officers) and Red Knights (motorcycle-riding firefighters), the route went from Axel Springer Verlag in Kettwig via Mülheim a.d. Ruhr, the south of Essen to the MEDION factory outlet in Essen Kray.
This year, the Essen Police President Andreas Stüve took over the patronage of the children's trike ride and sat on the first trike.
A 2-hour stop was then made in Kray, where everyone was able to fortify themselves with delicious steaks and sausages from the barbecue.
The route then took them via Steele, Überruhr, Rellinghausen, Stadtwald, Bredeney, Haarzopf and Schuir back to Axel Springer Verlag in Kettwig.
