NRW Interior Minister Herbert Reul said of Andreas Stüve at his inauguration:
“I am very pleased that we have succeeded in attracting such a high-profile expert in the fight against organized crime to Essen Police Headquarters in such a short space of time. Andreas Stüve is a pragmatist who knows the tricks of criminal clan members inside out. His experience can help us to catch more big fish.

As of this year, we have Mr. Andreas Stüve, Police Commissioner in Essen since 2022, as our new patron for the children's trip! He did not hesitate to take over the patronage after the request and will also take part in the trike children's ride on 01.09.2024 this year. We are delighted to be able to welcome our new patron there and hope that he will also catch a few 'big fish' for us and our campaign.
